H. Norman Wright

H. Norman Wright is a licensed Family Counselor and child therapist and has taught in the Grad. Department of Biola University. He is the author of more than seventy books

H. Norman Wright is a licensed Family Counselor and child therapist and has taught at the Grad. Department of Biola University. He was the former director of the Department of Marriage, Family and Child Guidance Graduates of the University of Biola, as well as associate professor of Psychology.

He was also Associate Professor of Christian Education and Director of the Department of Christian Graduate Education of the Talbot School of Theology. He is currently a Research Professor of Christian Education in this same institution.

Dr. Wright is a graduate of the University of Westmont, Fuller Theological Seminary (MRE), Pepperdine University (MA). He has received two honorary doctorates, DD and D.LIT, from the Western Conservative Baptist Seminary and Biola University respectively.In 2015 he graduated with his Doctorate in Ministry. from the Phoenix School of Theology.

He is the author of more than seventy books, including experiencing grief, the new Crisis and Trauma Counseling guide, recovering from the loss of life, Quiet Times for couples, and before saying I do. Dr. Wright has pioneered premarital counseling programs throughout the country. Seminars on parenting are held, recovering from loss of life, trauma and counseling in crisis, and marriage enrichment.

After thirty-five years of private practice, he serves as a research professor at the Graduate School of Talbot Theology. Dr. Wright and his wife, Joyce, are forty-five years old and live in Bakersfield, California.
