Zig Ziglar (November 6, 1926 - November 28, 2012) was a writer, salesman, and motivational American speaker.
At the age of 42 years, Zig Ziglar became director of training for a transport company in Dallas and in 1970 he got fully into the business of motivational oratory, it was the time he decided to call himself Zig.
Throughout his life Zig Ziglar has written innumerable and valuable books on motivation and positive attitude among which are: Four reasons not to set goals, A challenge for your life, Leadership and marketing, You can reach the top, Something else because smile, etc.
Zig Ziglar has authored such bestsellers as See You at the Top, Top Performance, Over the Top, and Secrets of Closing the Sale. As one of the most popular twentieth century motivational speakers, Zig spoke on the same stage as Presidents Ford, Reagan, and Bush; General Norman Schwarzkopf; Secretary of State Colin Powell; Dr. Norman Vincent Peale; and Paul Harvey.
