Prayer to be restored to the Father in the face of Adversity
"Some time later, the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt offended their master, the king of Egypt. Pharaoh was angry with his two officials, the chief cupbearer and the chief baker, and put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, in the same prison where Joseph was confined.
The captain of the guard assigned them to Joseph, and he attended them... Now the third day was Pharaoh’s birthday, and he gave a feast for all his officials.
He lifted up the heads of the chief cupbearer and the chief baker in the presence of his officials: He restored the chief cupbearer to his position, so that he once again put the cup into Pharaoh’s hand..." — Genesis 40:1-4, 20-21 (NIV)
Daily Exhortation
Any situation can arise that can lead to a loss of position, health, wealth, talent, giftings, spiritual tools, valuable time, etc.
In such a situation, what you need is a restoration. The only person who can arrange a restoration for you with no strings attached is the Almighty. Have you lost something good that you want back?
Today's Prayers
1. O Great Redeemer, I come before You this morning to confess that I have lost good things in my life for which I need restoration. Help me, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, forgive me any sin in my life which made me lose ____________ (your loss), in the name of Jesus. [Repeat prayer for each thing you have lost].
3. O God, let any action of powers of darkness which led to the loss of _______ (your loss) be paralyzed now and forever, in the name of Jesus. [Repeat prayer for each thing you have lost].
4. Great Redeemer, I call upon You today, restore __________ (your loss) unto me, in the name of Jesus. [Repeat prayer for each thing you have lost].
5. Merciful Father, let it be that everything that has been restored unto me today shall never ever be taken from me again, in the name of Jesus.
6. My Lord and my God, let all the consequences of the loss of _________ (your loss) vanish from my life and let all the benefits of its restoration begin to appear now, in the name of Jesus. [Repeat prayer for each thing you have lost].
