Though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. –1 Corinthians 13:2
My Prayer for Today
Father, I always want my priorities to be in line with the character that You portray. Help me not to be selfish or religious as I walk this life of faith.
Keep me focused in a single-minded pursuit of Your will. I know that Your nature is love and when I walk in love, I show that I am born of You and know You.
Help me to love others as You have loved me. Help me to be the son/daughter that You have created me to be.
My Confession for Today
The mysteries and knowledge of God dwell within me. I have faith that can move mountains and my faith operates within the boundaries of love.
(Matthew 17:20.) I am committed to love others as God has loved me. The Holy Spirit, who is love, dwells within my heart and His love is perfected in me. As I go about my business this day, I seek the good of others.
I am patient, kind, and forgiving. I focus on that which is good instead of seeking to expose what is bad. My first thought in all things is to honor God by walking in love.
