Prayer To Live With Sanity And Faith
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. –Romans 12:3
My Prayer for Today
Father, I thank You so much for Your grace and mercy toward me. Thank You for the divine enabling that I have to live my life with honor and integrity.
I thank You that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound, sober mind. (2 Timothy 1:7.) In You, I have all that I need and more.
With You, nothing is impossible for me. You have dealt to me the measure of faith. Feed me with revelation and I will go forward to do Your will.
My Confession for Today
I stand by God’s grace alone. I do not esteem myself more highly than I should, for I know that in and of myself I am nothing. Rather, I think of myself with sober judgment.
I know that my value in the sight of God is inestimable and that He has given me the measure of faith to put me over in this life.
However, I do not forget that all that I have, I have been given. I am totally, completely and joyfully dependent upon my God. He alone is my strength and the security by which I live. I trust Him completely and I am not afraid.
