Daily Exhortation
When Solomon was about to begin building the temple for the Almighty, he began to recruit workers for the project. The Bible says that he recruited 153,600 men to carry loads, to quarry stone and to supervise.
However, when he wanted to do work that required skill, he wrote a letter to another king in another country asking him to send "a man". This man was to work in gold, silver, brass and iron, and in purple, crimson and violet fabrics, and to make all manner of engravings.
The other king had such a man and sent him to Solomon. The man's name was Hiram. A royal consultant, a man who served before kings with excellence. Perhaps, it was of this man Solomon was speaking when he wrote Proverbs 22:29.
Do you also want to serve before kings? Do you want one CEO to recommend you to another CEO? One president to another? Do you want a great life? If yes, you need skill and you need diligence.
Daily Exhortation
1. My Lord and my God, I too want to serve before kings, in the name of Jesus.
2. Everlasting Father, I too would like to be recommended, based on my skill and diligence, from one great person to another, in the name of Jesus.
3. O God, let the same spirit that was in Hiram that made this possible for him, enter into my life now, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, let my understanding be supernaturally open so that I can acquire knowledge that can translate into profitable skills, in the name of Jesus.
5. O God, overwhelm my destiny with the spirit of diligence, with the ability to keep going at it until I succeed. Let me also learn that great things start from small beginnings so that I can apply patience in my work, in the name of Jesus.
6. My Father, let word about my work spread far and wide to kings and queens and to great persons of the earth so that I can become their consultant even as Hiram was, in the name of Jesus.
7. Thank You O God for answering my prayers, in Jesus' mighty name, amen.
If you have the need and the time, please feel free to add more prayers at this point.
Blessing: As you grow your skills and apply diligence in all that you do, you shall serve kings, in the name of Jesus.
