ANT
(Heb. “nemalah”). There are several species of ants. The Hebrew term comes from a root meaning “to huddle together,” which applies to all ants.
In Pr. 6:6; 30:25 are presented as an example to the lazy, indicating in the last passage that they prepare their food in summer. In the same way, believers must be diligent in redeeming time (Eph. 5:16; Col. 4:5).
