ASON
Seaport of Mysia, west of Asia Minor, on the northern coast of the Gulf of Adramicio, about 32 kilometers from Troas (Acts 20:13, 14).
A glance at the map shows that Paul was able to get from Troas to Ashon just as quickly by walking as by boat. This place is now completely devastated, but its ruins are well preserved, some of them made of granite. Not far away stands the current city of Beiram.
