Jewish princess, daughter of Herod Agrippa I and sister of Agrippa, married to her uncle Herod, king of Chalcis.
Her intimacy with her own brother Agrippa caused scandal; Having been widowed by her, she married Polemus, king of Cilicia, but she abandoned him to return to Agrippa, with whom she was when Paul appeared before him (Acts 25:13, 23; 26: 27-30) .
She later served as maiden of the Romans Vespasian and Titus. Her love affairs with the latter had begun during the first rebellion of the Jews against the Romans.
