CAPPADOCIA

Province of Asia Minor, bordered to the north by Pontus; to the south through Cilicia, Syria and Armenia; to the west by Lycaonia. Famous for its wheat and horses; Its inhabitants were uneducated and had low morals.

On the day of Pentecost there were Cappadocians (Acts 2:9). (See 1 Pet. 1:1).
