Arrow, short spear, javelin (2 Sam. 18:14; 2 Chron. 32:5; Jb. 41:26, 29; Prov. 7:23).
“Ignited darts” means darts with tips coated with a combustible material that ignites when thrown. or by percussion, burning as well as wounding (Eph. 6:16; cp. Ps. 120:4). The Christian needs the shield of faith to extinguish such darts of the Evil One.
