EAST WIND
Wind that generally blows from the east. In Egypt he damaged the grain (Gen. 41:23, 27); In Palestine he withered the vineyards and plants in general (Ez. 17: 7-10; 19: 10-12).
In these countries, the east wind is hot, suffocating, harmful to plants, burning their leaves and drying them, because it comes from Arabia or the Syro-Arabian desert (Hos. 13:15).
