Greek transcription of Latin Gaius.
(a) Christian from Macedonia, and companion of Paul. Together with Aristarchus, he was arrested and taken to the theater during the tumult at Ephesus (Acts 19:29).

(b) Convert from Derbe of Lycaonia and companion of Paul (Acts 20:4).
(c) Christian from Corinth whom Paul had baptized, and who had offered hospitality not only to him, but to the entire church (Rom. 16:23; 1 Cor. 1:14).

(d) Convert of John, whose walk in truth and love is praised by the apostle. He is the recipient of his third Epistle (3 Jn. 1).
