“Wall”.
(a) Name of a town in Judah, at an equal distance between Bethlehem and Hebron, and which is located two miles from the road that connects these two cities.
(b) One name among the posterity of Judah is thus preserved (1 Chron. 4:4-18).
(c) It is also the proper name of a chief of the tribe of Benjamin, ancestor of Saul (1 Chron. 8:31; 9:37).
(d) A town located in the territory of Benjamin bore this name (1 Chron. 4:39).
(e) Name of a town located on the southeastern edge of Judah (1 Chron. 4:39).
