MAGOG
A people descended from Japheth (Gen. 10:2), dwelling in a northern country (Ez. 38:2, 15).
Josephus identifies Magog with the Scythians (Ant. 1:6, 1).
Ezekiel prophetically proclaims the final triumph of God’s program: the king of Magog and his hordes are destroyed by invading the lands of Israel.
