MIDWIFE
Those who assist women in labor, women who give birth. God gave his blessing to the Hebrew midwives who refused to obey the king of Egypt’s order to put to death the male children of the Hebrew women.
In many countries there are still midwives, midwives or midwives who perform the same function (Gen. 35:17; 38:28; Ex. 1:15-21).
