Babylonian god of the sun, under the aspect of destructive fire (2 Kings 17:30). The seat of his cult was the city of Cuta. Lord of the infernal regions and god of war and epidemics.

We were created to come close to a Father who has made himself vulnerable to the longings of his people and to absorb his desires as he cares for and works through ours.
