SEASONS
When God created the lights in the expanse, he said: “Let them serve as signs for the seasons, for days and years.”
It is well known that the different seasons of the year are due to the greater or lesser duration of daylight, thus having more or less of the sun’s heat.
After the flood, God reaffirms the ordering of the seasons (Gen. 8:22).
In Palestine only two were known, and they are described through parallelisms as follows:
from october to march
1. Sementera
3. Cold
5. Winter
from April to September
2. Mowing
4. Heat
6. Summer
