SIMRON

SIMRON

“look-out”.
(a) Son of Issachar and founder of a clan (Gen. 46:13; Num. 26:24; 1 Chron. 7:1).
(b) Canaanite city, whose full name was Simron-merón. There Joshua defeated his king and killed her (Joshua 12:20). It appears to be the same one mentioned in Joseph. 11:1; 19:15 and assigned to Zebulun.
