“shiny object.” Climb that the Moabites and Ammonites followed to reach En-gedi to the deserts of Jeruel and Tekoa (2 Chr. 20:16; cf. vv. 2, 20).

Generally identified with the wadi Hasãsa, which runs from the western bank of the Dead Sea, north of En-gedi, to the plateau of Judah.
