TO LISTEN
Listening (hearing), in the Bible, is almost always more than mere hearing: when God listens, it means that He has granted something (Josh. 10:14). When a man listens, it means that he draws the consequences of what he has heard (Jer. 26:3 ff.; Luke 6:47). Listening is the way by which man comes to faith (Rom. 10:14)
