TROPHIMUS
“that feeds.” Ephesius converted to Christ, coming from the Gentiles. He accompanied Paul from Greece to Jerusalem (Acts 20:4), where the Jews of Asia falsely accused Paul of bringing him into the Temple, violating the Law (Acts 20:4; 21:29).
In his last epistle, Paul says that he had left Trophimus sick at Miletus (2 Tim. 4:20).
