TUBAL-CAIN
Cain means “craftsman”, or also forger. Son of Lamech (descendant of Cain), he was the initiator of copper and iron metallurgy (Gen. 4:22).
According to certain mythologists, it was around this historical figure that the myth of Vulcan grew.
