Jim Cymbala

Jim Cymbala is a well-known Christian pastor, author, and speaker. He was born on August 5, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York. In 1971, Jim became the pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle. Jim Cymbala is known for his powerful preaching, emphasis on prayer and worship, and his heart for inner-city ministry. Jim has been married to his wife Carol for over 50 years.

Jim Cymbala is a well-known Christian pastor, author, and speaker. He was born on August 5, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in a devout Catholic family. After a difficult childhood and teenage years, Jim had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ at the age of 22.

In 1971, Jim became the pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle, a struggling congregation with only 20 members at the time. Under his leadership, the church experienced a remarkable transformation and growth. Today, the Brooklyn Tabernacle is a thriving congregation of over 10,000 members from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.

Jim Cymbala is known for his powerful preaching, emphasis on prayer and worship, and his heart for inner-city ministry. He is also the author of several books, including "Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire," "Fresh Faith," "Fresh Power," "Spirit Rising," and "The Promise of God's Power."

In addition to his work at the Brooklyn Tabernacle, Jim Cymbala is involved in various ministries, including the Brooklyn Teen Challenge, a Christian organization that helps young people overcome addiction and other life-controlling issues.
