Jim Cymbala

Jim Cymbala is a well-known Christian pastor, author, and speaker. He was born on August 5, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in a devout Catholic family. After a difficult childhood and teenage years, Jim had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ at the age of 22.

In 1971, Jim became the pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle, a struggling congregation with only 20 members at the time.
