BAHURIM
Town near the Mount of Olives, on the way from Jerusalem to the Jordan (2 Sam.16:5); It is mentioned often in the story of David.
Shimei came from there, who cursed him; This is where Jonathan and Ahimaaz hid in a well when they were pursued by Absalom’s supporters (2 Samuel 3:16; 16:5; 17:18; 19:16; 1 Kings 2:8). Identified with Rãs et-Tmîn, east of the Mount of Olives.
