(a) King of Lachish, one of the five Amorite princes who joined Adonizedek to attack Gibeon but were defeated near Beth-horon by Joshua, who received miraculous help, and were killed in the cave of Maceda (Joshua 10:3).
(b) A son of David who was born in Jerusalem (2 Sam. 5:16) and is not spoken of anywhere else.
(c) Border city of Zebulun to the south between Dabereth and Get-hepher (Josh. 19:12), now Japhah, near Nazareth.
