KIN
In the Scriptures the following terms are translated as “kindred”:
(a) heb. “mõledheth,” “related by birth” (Gen. 12:1; 24:4, 7; 31:3; 32:9; Num. 10:30; Est. 2:10);
(b) Heb. “mishpãhãh”, “family” (Gen. 24:38; Josh. 6:23); gr. (NT): “sungeneia” (Lk. 1:61; Acts 7:3, 14).
