“high place.” Place where King Jehoiakim’s grandfather lived (2 Kings 23:36). This may be Aruma, near Shechem (Ant. 10:5, 2); or perhaps from Ruma in Galilee (Wars 3:7, 21), identified with Khirbet Rumeh, just over 9 km north of Nazareth.
