SAMOTHRACE

“Samos of Thrace.”
Island in the Aegean Sea, along Thrace, and opposite the mouth of the Hebros River. It has an area of around 80 km2 and its highest point rises to 1,524 m.
From Troas, in Asia Minor, Paul’s ship headed directly toward Samothrace (Acts 16:11).
