Daily Exhortation
Is your name in the Lamb's Book of Life? There is a book called the Book of Life. Jesus once told His disciples not to rejoice because they were able to cast out demons or perform miracles but rather that their names were written in this book. This book is currently in heaven.
It is the database of a specific category of persons. It is being constantly updated with names being written in and blotted out all the time. Essentially, if your name is not there and the end comes, you will go to hell. If your name is there and the end comes, you will be let into heaven. Which do you prefer?
Today's Prayers
1. Almighty God, let my ways always please you, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, let me never quench the voice of Your Holy Spirit in my life so that I can do what He says and live in accordance with Your will for my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. O God, create in me an insatiable hunger to read Your word so I can find out from it what has been written and do them so that my life can honor You, in the name of Jesus.
4. Great God, I do not want or desire, in any way, shape or form to go into the lake that burns with sulfur and fire. This shall not be my lot, in the name of Jesus.
5. My Lord and my God, what I desire is to enter into heaven. When my time comes, I want to enter into an unimaginable realm of glory and understandings and to spend my eternity with You and other saints exploring unfathomable realities, in the name of Jesus.
6. Therefore Lord, whatever is in my life that is soiling my spiritual garments and that may cause my name to be erased from the Book of Life, I do not want. Help me and give me the strength to remove it from my life permanently, in the name of Jesus.
7. As I go out today, with every intention of living a life that will honor You, I thank You righteous Father that my name is written in the Book of Life, in Jesus' mighty name, amen.
If you have the need and the time, please feel free to add more prayers at this point.
Blessing: May the Holy Spirit of God in you give you the unction to live righteously so that your name will be found in the book of Life, in the name of Jesus.
