Prayer To Face Adversity Like Joseph
"But Joseph said to them, 'Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.' And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them." — Genesis 50:19-21 (NIV)
Daily Exhortation
Driven by the rage of envy and inferiority complex, Joseph's brothers sold him to slavery in order for his dreams to be extinguished forever. However, God took that adversity and made it a testimony for Joseph. At the end of the day, not only did Joseph's dreams come to pass, he also saved the lives of his brothers, their families and the world.
Today's Prayers
1. My Father in heaven, I come before You this morning, to present to You the adversities that I am facing and to ask that I need Your help, in the name of Jesus.
2. My God, look at these adversities, if there is any amongst them that does not have promotion and destiny fulfillment at the end but only sorrow and death, let it be terminated right now, in the name of Jesus.
3. Any human agent behind these deadly adversities, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I arrest you and I hand you over to the Almighty for divine judgment, in the name of Jesus.
4. Any demonic spirit powering fatal adversities against my destiny, I bind you with fetters that can never melt or break. Depart from my life and never ever return, in the name of Jesus.
5. My Father, I present to you the adversities that I am facing and which have promotion and destiny fulfillment at the end. Like Joseph, let me have the fortitude and the staying power to endure until the end, in the name of Joseph.
6. I lay claim to every blessing that is meant for me and no weakness of body, soul or spirit shall make me lose my blessing. All those who are standing in opposition against me, like Joseph, will still bow before the power of the living God in my life, in the name of Jesus.
7. Thank You heavenly Father, in Jesus' mighty name, amen.
If you have the need and the time, please feel free to add more prayers at this point.
Blessing: May you endure until the end to get what is rightfully yours, in the name of Jesus.
